Home Remedies for Hemorrhoids
Having hemorrhoids is a big pain physically and socially. If you constipate while trying to get all of that waste out of your digestive system, then chances are you might get hemorrhoids, which are really painful whenever you sit or stand.
When you go outside to buy medicines to remove these, expect to get a weird look from the medicine seller, as having hemorrhoids is absolutely not something to brag about.
Experts and concerned people know the pain, that’s why they came up with home remedies for hemorrhoids for people who prefer to get through this on their own. This, however, cannot replace the cure doctors can offer, so be sure to set an appointment with your doctor and let him/her know about these.
To aid in the proper excretion of waste, a person suffering from hemorrhoids should take food that contain fiber. Fiber acts as a digestive cleaner, so it flushes toxins out of the system. Moreover, it will liquefy the wastes to easily accommodate them out of the body. It will not cure the hemorrhoids, but this would be an ideal way to help oneself against the brunt of hemorrhoids while trying to cure it.
Like fiber, putting aloe vera in the anus will not cure hemorrhoids, but it will soothe the skin and decrease the pain and stinging. It also has a cooling effect that will counteract the burning sensation of hemorrhoids. Aloe vera is known to help cure or at least aid in the healing process of a certain infection.
Witch hazel can help reduce the muscular contraction of the anus and reduces pain. This plant can be bought in many stores. Mixing it with aloe vera will be a good idea. There are ready-made products in the market that actually does not require you to do the crushing of the leaves and other stuff.
Drink lots of water. This will aid in the softening of wastes before they are excreted, not to mention the minerals they supply the body loses due to hemorrhoids.
The use of concoctions as remedies for hemorrhoids can also be accompanied by other methods like changing your way of sitting or sleeping. Exposure of the hemorrhoids to a flat surface will aggravate the pain felt by the patient. Try to do cross-sitting as not to expose much of the area to the chair’s surface. With sleeping, try to change your position by facing sideways.
When one feels the urge to sit in the toilet bowl, do not force the waste to get out. It will just worsen the condition. Help yourself by doing it very slowly. It does not matter if it lasts for about an hour, as long as the infected area doesn’t get more damage.
Lastly, do not experiment too much on things that claim to help cure hemorrhoids. It is still better to go to your doctor even at least once to have the problem checked.
These home remedies for hemorrhoids help you deal with this dreadful infection, but do not forget that preventing this from happening is better than curing it.
